Tour The Artwork

Celebrating Summer the ancient game of golf interpreted in a contemporary style is our subject. Our featured artwork is "Golf's Grand View" by the American artist Kenneth Michael Zeran. The enamel and acrylic painting on canvas (72" X 36") is a panoramic spectacle of tournament golf. The work captures the outdoor vastness and beauty of nature set as a colorful playground. An undulating shadowland stage with a large audience in attendance watching performers across a collossal battlefied of man against man against mother nature.

The artwork is ambitious with a myriad of detail. Zeran has executed multiple perspectives. The foreground is painted from a birdseye view down on the action while the majesty of the course and nature's surroundings are accomplished on a horizontal plane with a vanishing point dominated by the power of water and mountains.

Kenneth Michael Zeran's recent painting of sport has brought national attention and media coverage. It is a familiar subject in an accomplished career. See his biography here.

The original painting is on display at the Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery in Bellevue, Washington. Giclee prints and lithographic posters are available through Adroitmedia Publishing.
